For thirty years, Hamilton Marine has been synonymous with trust, expertise, and a uniquely personal approach to yachting. Since our founding in 1996, our unwavering mission has been to guide clients with integrity, discretion, and a genuine passion for life at sea – whether buying, selling, or chartering yachts.

Our Story: 30 Years Navigating Excellence
Originally established to manage Camper & Nicholsons International in Spain, Hamilton Marine has, since 2018, evolved into a transatlantic yachting and brokerage consultancy. Our foundation is built on exclusive relationships, deep experience, steadfast dedication, and a shared love of the sea.
- Jonathan Syrett (Mallorca): With over 40 years of brokerage experience and a lifetime immersed in Mediterranean yachting, Jonathan has overseen hundreds of successful transactions and fostered enduring client relationships.
- David Ross (Fort Lauderdale): Leading our US division, David brings decades of shipyard leadership and yacht construction expertise, including the delivery of 36 custom-built Burger superyachts. His recent years as a broker have been marked by notable achievements.
- Nick Kincaid (Fort Lauderdale): A seasoned charter captain and waterman, Nick enriches our team with hands-on maritime knowledge and a passion for crafting unforgettable experiences at sea. Though new to yacht brokerage, Nick has already made a significant impact with several major sales.
Together, our team embodies the spirit of Hamilton Marine International: personal, knowledgeable, and unwaveringly dedicated.

Jonathan H. Syrett
A self-proclaimed ‘Englishman from Mallorca’, Yachting & Brokerage Consultant Jonathan Syrett moved to the island when he was nine years old and went on to notch up 33 years’ service with Camper & Nicholsons International in Spain before departing to set up his consultancy business in 2018.
Jonathan has been fortunate enough to have helped literally hundreds of incredible people with their individual yachting needs. He has sold entry-level boats to clients stepping on the very first rung of the yachting ladder and magnificent floating homes to some of the world’s wealthiest.
Many have gone on to be repeat customers several times over and each has relished the unique lifestyle afforded by being afloat.
David Ross
While Jonathan has pure yachting running through his veins, his US counterpart David holds a rather more eclectic CV. Born in Germany and raised in the US, the former Marine has channelled his entrepreneurial spirit into everything from photo labs to hot dog restaurants (yes, you read that right) – but the sea has never stopped calling.
David notched up 16 years as Owner, President & CEO of yacht builder Burger Boat Company, a further three as CEO of YACHTZOO LLC and three more with Miami boutique brokerage Reel Deal Yachts. During this time, he rebuilt shipyards, managed hundreds of staff, assembled global networks of naval architects and designers, and sold and delivered no less than 36 custom-designed superyachts.
In short, he’s a shoo-in to head up the US Division of Hamilton Marine.
Nick Kincaid
Born into a family of esteemed watermen in Delaware, Nick’s earliest memories are intertwined with the gentle waves of the Chesapeake Bay. His youth was spent mastering the art of sailing and navigating power boats, a prelude to his illustrious career on the water.
At the tender age of 17, Nick embarked on his maritime journey, completing his captain’s courses with a determination that belied his years. The sunny shores of Florida beckoned, where he swiftly ascended the ranks to become a revered charter yacht captain. Commanding vessels over 40 meters, Nick’s vibrant energy and affable nature have endeared him to clients, crafting unforgettable charter experiences.
Away from the helm, Nick’s heart remains anchored to the sea. He thrives in the thrill of tournament fishing, the tranquility of diving, and the freedom of surfing. His personal vessel is a testament to his enduring passion for maritime adventures.
Yet, it is the shores of West Palm, Florida, and Newport, Rhode Island, that Nick calls home. Here, alongside his beloved wife and son, he instills the values of an active lifestyle and the art of making lasting memories.
